eBay Inc OPENS GLOBAL DEVELOPMENT CENTRE IN BANGALORE. TO HIRE 1000 TECHNOLOGISTS BY 2016.

' We warmly welcome eBay Inc. into the state of karnataka as it reaffirms our  place in the world map for global product and technology innovation,and brings hundreds of high value jobs to our country'. said.Mr.S.R.Patil,Minister for IT,BT and science & Technology,Government of Karnataka.He further said,the government has set a target to incubate atleast 1000 startups in Karnataka by 2020.He urged eBay and other IT companies to go to TierII & Tier III cities where talent is available.He wanted karnataka to increase digital literacy to emerge as a leading state in  IT sector  in the country.Mr.Srivatsa Krishna, Secretary,IT,BT & Science & Technology,Govt. of karnataka  told eBay not to wait for 3 years to increase the head count but to achieve the goal by september,2014.
