KYRON AND MIT PARTNER FOR GLOBAL START UP LABS 2014 IN BENGALURU.

Kyron University and Kyron Global Accelarator announce 
partnership with Massachusetts
Institute of Technology (MIT) 
to launch 2014 version of Global start-up Labs (GSL)  in Bangalore.

Addressing media Mr. Kiran Ratnapu,Entrepreneurial Lead at MIT Global Start Up Labs in 
In India said,"There is a gap in
entrepreneurship eco system in India.Early stage accelarators  and VC firms address the
mentoring needs of those who have some traction,but there are budding entrepreneurs who
need mentoring on market oriented product development,to be good enough to be
considered by the early stage accelarators.MIT GSL precisely address this gap,".

The workshop which is a 6 week intensive accelarator program, starts from 17,th June till
25th,July,2014.This program will focus on Ideation,market research,pitching and
appropriate technology platforms,culminating with a pitch and prototype competition.
after the succesful completion of the program,the participants (28)  would be awarded
certificate from MIT.The program will be offered Free to the participants.
ABOUT MIT GLOBAL START - UP LABS :
MIT Global Start-Up labs is a multi disciplinary group of MISTI ( MIT International
Science and Technology Initiatives) that promotes development in emerging regions
by cultivating young technology entrepreneurs.This year MIT GSL will work with
young Indian students on creative & interdisciplinary areas on design,web,and hardware. 
So far,it has conducted 43 courses in 15 countries and has mentored over 2000 
participants.
